The Senior Director of Marketing will be a pivotal marketing executive accountable for formulating and implementing enterprise-wide marketing plans that fuel growth, enhance customer engagement, and distinguish the brand. This leader will supervise essential marketing functions such as digital marketing, ecommerce, loyalty programs, customer engagement, social and print media, and mobile marketing, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deploy comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and expansion plans.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to establish marketing priorities based on market intelligence, customer analytics, and performance metrics.
- Oversee core marketing operations including digital channels, ecommerce, loyalty initiatives, customer engagement platforms, social media, and traditional marketing.
- Implement tactics to boost marketing ROI, optimize expenditure, and enhance marketing effectiveness across all platforms.
- Enhance brand positioning and guarantee a unified customer experience across varied markets and touchpoints.
- Manage and monitor the marketing budget to ensure investments reflect strategic goals and drive quantifiable business results.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a dynamic marketing team, encouraging responsibility, creativity, and ongoing enhancement.
- Partner with merchandising, operations, IT, finance, and store management to create and execute programs supporting company goals.
- Translate annual business strategies into detailed marketing roadmaps with defined KPIs, deadlines, and measurable targets.
- Apply customer insights, analytics, and industry trends to inform strategies and proactively adapt to evolving consumer behavior.
- Oversee talent growth, performance management, coaching, and succession within the marketing team.
- Act as a representative at industry partnerships, professional associations, and relevant sector events.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Experience in retail, grocery, hospitality, restaurant, or similar customer-centric sectors is essential.
- Over eight years of escalating marketing experience, including more than three years in leadership roles managing teams and complex projects.
- Proven ability to develop and lead comprehensive omnichannel marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated track record running marketing operations inclusive of digital, ecommerce, loyalty, and traditional channels.
- Proficient in managing marketing budgets and achieving measurable business outcomes.
- Strong commercial insight linking marketing initiatives to revenue enhancement and enterprise goals.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, analytics, marketing technology tools, and performance evaluation frameworks.
- Skillful use of data and market intelligence to guide decisions and ongoing improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the prowess to influence and engage executive-level stakeholders.
- Experienced leader with success in building, mentoring, and advancing high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset capable of balancing forward-looking vision with practical execution.
