Position Overview

The finance function at The Joint Chiropractic is pivotal to driving business growth and transcends traditional reporting roles. This leadership role demands a seasoned finance professional who can distill complex financial data into strategic insights, impact executive decision-making, and help direct the company's long-term financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CFO and executive leaders to define financial strategies, business plans, and foster long-term expansion.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), encompassing annual budgets, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and detailed financial study.
• Create executive dashboards and Board presentations, transforming data into actionable and understandable business recommendations.
• Act as a trusted consultant to leadership by clarifying financial results, spotting risks and prospects, and supporting well-informed decisions.
• Develop dynamic financial models to appraise strategic initiatives, capital investments, and emerging business opportunities.
• Implement AI, automation, and data analytics tools to enhance efficiency in reporting, forecasting, and operational processes.
• Champion continuous improvement efforts to optimize financial workflows, planning processes, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Guide and mentor a high-performing finance team, nurturing a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA are preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in finance leadership with profound knowledge in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives through insightful, data-backed financial guidance.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex financial information into compelling narratives for business decisions.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or business intelligence technologies to enhance finance operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to ongoing improvement.
• Experience in public companies and familiarity with subscription models, franchise systems, or multi-unit retail sectors is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from 190000 to 215000 USD annually, dependent on experience.

Work Schedule and Location

This position operates on a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in-office presence at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday).
