Job description

Position Overview

This role as a Senior Recruitment Advisor focuses on delivering expert guidance and best practices for recruiting and selecting frontline child protection professionals. The responsibilities encompass practical recruitment techniques, culturally sensitive candidate evaluation, talent attraction, and staff onboarding, induction, and retention. The position also requires contributing expertise to implement strategic recruitment projects within a complex workforce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance content on the Central Recruitment Team's LinkedIn portal and various job boards like SEEK and Indeed, ensuring governance, accurate information, publishing procedures, and applicant engagement for excellent candidate care.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to prepare recruitment communication materials supporting departmental hiring initiatives on LinkedIn.
  • Provide up-to-date and culturally appropriate advice and consultancy services to executives, hiring managers, and applicants regarding vacancy oversight and recruitment processes across the department.
  • Cultivate effective partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to guarantee quality service delivery, sound practice, and positive outcomes.
  • Offer guidance and recommend recruitment solutions to regional teams to promote a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of human resource management policies and procedures to deliver modern HR solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Engage in reviewing services and implementing new initiatives that align with departmental strategic and operational plans to ensure continuous improvement and quality in human resource practices.
  • Contribute actively as a member of a cohesive, high-performing team where each member’s input is respected and encouraged.
