Role overview
This role supports the VP of Brand Creative Marketing NA and the Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Nike in Los Angeles. The position is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, outcome-focused environment and can keep leaders, teams, and business operations organized and running smoothly.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.59 at the lower end of the relevant market up to $52.50 at the higher end. Final pay will depend on where the candidate is based, along with qualifications, skills, and experience.

What the role requires
The ideal candidate is highly organized, quick to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to set expectations with different stakeholders, follow through on requests, and adapt support style based on the needs of the leaders and teams involved.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, including meetings, appointments, and conferences, while resolving conflicts and coordinating with others as needed.
- Arrange travel, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, and supporting trip documentation and itineraries.
- Coordinate meetings and events by handling space booking, scheduling, reminders, catering, agendas, budgeting, and external coordination.
- Prepare expense reports and help monitor budgets, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.
- Create, edit, and format documents and email communication, including org charts, presentation decks, agendas, and run-of-show materials.
- Draft, edit, or contribute to communications under leadership direction, while managing distribution lists and sending messages when needed.
- Work with stakeholders to plan office, workspace, equipment, or team-space moves.
- Support expense monitoring, purchase order creation, and related administrative tracking.
- Assist with special projects, including planning, progress tracking, and deadline management.
- Help build team culture through staff meetings, offsites, team-building activities, and workplace engagement.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for team questions and provide coverage for other leaders when needed.
- Take on additional team plans, activations, and deliverables as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 3 years of administrative experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of personalities, including senior executives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with periods of ambiguity.
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
- Capacity to work independently, take initiative, and follow through with strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience supporting budgets is strongly preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Keynote is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience at Nike is an added advantage.
- Ability to occasionally work outside standard business hours.
