About the role

Uber is hiring a highly driven Senior Account Manager to join its Enterprise Account Management team in New Zealand. The role centers on working with major grocery and retail merchants to accelerate business growth, improve store-level operations, and deliver a better customer experience on the Uber Eats platform. A consultative style, strong commercial thinking, and the ability to build long-term partnerships will be important for success in this position. The role also contributes to growing premium selection for customers across ANZ.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of grocery and retail partnerships in New Zealand, with a focus on expanding selection and delivering strong operational outcomes for Uber Eats customers.
  • Lead portfolio performance through joint business planning, identification of growth opportunities, execution of initiatives, and ongoing operational improvements.
  • Drive account growth by promoting Uber solutions such as advertising, offers, and Uber Direct.
  • Develop and maintain strong partner relationships that support retention and long-term account value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by guiding partners on growth strategies and proven business practices.
  • Help run key operational processes to keep the partner experience smooth and effective.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Several years of experience in account management, business development, or partner management.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong partner relationships and meeting sales and business goals.
  • Solid commercial judgment and a good understanding of business strategy and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform well in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coordinate across different teams, businesses, and seniority levels.

Preferred background

  • Prior experience in grocery and retail accounts is an advantage.
  • Background in e-commerce partner management is also preferred.
