Role overview
Our client is a prominent financial institution in Asia, known for its established equities business and strong reach across major regional markets. Backed by many years of experience working with both institutional and retail investors, the firm has built a reputation for delivering high-quality research, market insights and capital markets expertise.
The team is hiring both junior and senior equity research analysts to cover Singapore-listed companies across a range of sectors.

Junior equity research analyst
Key responsibilities
- Assist with coverage of SGX-listed businesses in assigned sectors.
- Prepare and update financial and valuation models.
- Support the creation of research notes, earnings updates and investment recommendations.
- Carry out research on industries, competitors and market trends.
- Join company briefings, results sessions and site visits.
- Help senior analysts with thematic research and sector outlook work.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, corporate finance, audit or a related investment-focused role.
Senior equity research analyst
Key responsibilities
- Own coverage of listed companies within the assigned sectors.
- Build financial models, perform valuations and develop differentiated investment calls.
- Write and publish high-quality research reports and thematic commentary.
- Present investment views to institutional clients and internal teams.
- Take part in management meetings, roadshows and client interactions.
- Guide junior analysts and contribute to wider team efforts.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant sell-side equity research experience.
