Scaled Acquisition & Community Management (Southeast Asia Region)

Role overview

Bilibili is expanding its creator ecosystem across Southeast Asia and is looking for someone to build the acquisition and community engine from the ground up. This position focuses on bringing in creators at scale, helping them become active quickly, and sustaining long-term engagement across the broader creator base. The work centers on creating a repeatable, data-backed process for acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and community growth.

Key responsibilities

You will manage the full creator supply funnel for your market, with ownership across outreach, onboarding, activation, and community retention. The role requires balancing high-volume execution with thoughtful community building and close coordination with internal teams.

• Lead the upper funnel for creator acquisition in your market through structured outbound efforts across email, direct messages, social channels, and referrals.
• Build, organize, and maintain a segmented creator database and CRM, while setting funnel targets and reporting conversion performance at every stage.
• Oversee third-party acquisition channels and agency partners as managed support tools, ensuring they operate to an internally defined standard.
• Create and run onboarding cohorts and activation initiatives that help new creators reach their first upload, first community interaction, and first payout as quickly as possible.
• Develop scalable onboarding materials such as playbooks, templates, and self-serve resources so the process can grow without heavy one-to-one support.
• Own community engagement and retention for the creator base by running programs, challenges, and meetups that encourage consistent publishing and stronger community participation.
• Track community sentiment and health, reinforce Bilibili’s community standards and tone, and escalate issues to the relevant teams when needed.
• Identify dormant or at-risk creators and execute structured reactivation efforts to reduce churn.
• Monitor acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention metrics, produce periodic reports, and test improvements to boost conversion and retention.
• Share creator and community insights with Product, Operations, and the SEA team, and coordinate with Creator Operations Specialists so high-touch and scaled efforts work together effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, International Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong command of English, plus near-native proficiency in one market language for day-to-day creator communication and localization work; acceptable languages include Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Filipino/Tagalog, Thai, or Vietnamese.
• Language ability will be evaluated during the interview process, and comfort working across multiple markets is important.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in creator operations, community operations, growth or scaled acquisition, business development, sales development, or partnerships.
• Demonstrated success with high-volume outbound activity and measurable conversion results.
• Comfort working in a data-driven, process-led environment using CRM tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, and funnel tracking.
• Practical experience building and engaging online communities, including awareness of community health, retention, and moderation.
• Strong self-direction, analytical thinking, resilience, and the ability to manage both volume-based execution and genuine community care.
• Authentic interest in digital content, ACG, and the creator economy, along with strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred experience

• Exposure to Bilibili or the wider ACG ecosystem is a plus.
• Background in creator-platform or marketplace supply growth across the full creator lifecycle is preferred.
• Experience managing agencies or channel partners as an acquisition lever is an advantage.
• Multi-market Southeast Asia experience would be beneficial.
