About the Role
Join the Nike team as a Sales Representative responsible for managing a segment of the Key and General Partners business across Canada. This hybrid role entails working on-site four days a week at Nike's Downtown Toronto Head Office (Monday through Thursday) with remote work on Fridays. As an individual contributor, you'll play a vital part in driving product placement and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a designated portfolio within the Key and General Partners business in Canada, providing insightful account feedback to partners.
- Leverage market insights on product trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activity to enhance product positioning and increase sell-through rates.
- Develop accurate go-to-market strategies, seasonal assortments, and sales forecasts.
- Conduct seasonal line reviews with buyers, craft and execute seasonal sales plans, monitor market conditions, and propose assortment adjustments.
- Build and sustain timely, positive relationships both externally with partners and internally with Nike teams.
- Take accountability for executing, managing, and coordinating assigned accounts efficiently to meet sales targets and deadlines.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by fostering strong relationships at all levels within customer organizations.
Collaboration
- Regularly partner with account buyers to develop plans and forecasts, communicating business opportunities, challenges, progress, and support needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Nike Operations, Planning, and Merchandising teams to manage your portfolio effectively.
- Report directly to the Senior Manager of Key and General Partners, Canada.
- Engage with North American counterparts as needed to align strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bring over two years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Buying, Retail Planning, or Merchandising within sporting goods, fashion, or related industries.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of product trends and apply industry, consumer, and account data insightfully to guide decisions and foster innovation.
- Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or surpassing revenue objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing and able to travel across Canada and the USA for sales meetings, including geographic territory and international travel as required.
Compensation and Work Environment
The annual base salary for this position typically ranges from 73000 to 109600 CAD, subject to variation based on qualifications and experience.
