Overview

As a Product Line Manager II at Nike, focusing on Global Accessories (including Bags and Socks), you will play an integral role in shaping the future of our accessory products. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams such as Product Data, Design, Development, Manufacturing, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing to guide products from concept through to market release. This role offers the chance to engage directly with athletes and market partners to identify needs and inspire the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the product creation journey from initial brief to buy-ready status.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of product data and maintain relevant product management tools and sample tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, design, development, sourcing, and marketing teams to align efforts and advance the product creation process.
  • Conduct thorough research on products, consumers, and marketplace trends to inform decision-making.
  • Deliver key milestones on schedule and maintain personal accountability as a collaborative team member.
  • Serve as the expert on product workflows, tools, and sample management methodologies.
  • Partner closely with global product management, merchandising, design, development, sourcing, and marketing counterparts.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, retail merchandising, product management, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education, experience, or training are also considered.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in product management or a related discipline.
  • A genuine passion for sport, strong connection to athletes and consumers, and enthusiasm for Nike accessories and sports culture.
  • Excellent influencing, organizational, and collaborative skills with a proven ability to drive processes and produce results.
  • Strong visionary skills, demonstrated by innovative concept development and execution.
  • High level of optimism and dedication to inspiring confidence and hope regarding future opportunities.
  • Natural curiosity to continuously learn about new consumers, ideas, and market opportunities.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Keynote, and general business software applications.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel.
