Job Summary
This role is focused on driving and exceeding revenue goals through the sale of fine jewelry and watches. The position also requires delivering a high-end client experience that reflects the brand’s standing as a highly prestigious rare jewelry house. A major part of the job is to cultivate lasting customer relationships and build a strong network that can generate qualified leads.
Sales Responsibilities
- Deliver a premium brand experience to every client.
- Consistently achieve and outperform sales goals.
- Convert walk-in traffic into prospective customers.
- Manage and expand the existing client portfolio while tracking important dates, preferences, and future buying interests.
- Promote specific jewelry and watch items to current clients based on their profile and history.
- Support the wider team during the selling process when required.
- Use multiple communication channels regularly to help drive sales.
Client Base Development
- Keep the client database current using every available source.
- Build new relationships through social connections and public relations-focused events.
- Record and update client details accurately in GEM.
- Grow the existing client list while also identifying fresh prospects.
- Deliver excellent post-purchase service to all clients.
After-Sales Service
- Provide attentive, personalized support for product care and maintenance.
- Use all available tools and resources to resolve issues effectively.
- Escalate any product or client concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with clients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail, especially jewelry and watches.
- A college degree is required.
- Graduate Gemologist certification is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, and people skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills are needed.
- Must be available for flexible retail working hours.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus, with Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese preferred.
