Job description
Role overview
The High Jewelry Merchandising Analyst supports inventory planning and assortment upkeep so store stock levels stay aligned with business goals and profitability targets. This position plays a key part in salon operations by handling allocation, replenishment, and reporting tasks with a high degree of accuracy. It also calls for close coordination with regional and global partners in a luxury retail setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage worldwide stock distribution and product movement across salon locations.
- Support daily and weekly replenishment shipments while reviewing and summarizing local and regional sales performance.
- Serve as a central contact for salons, helping arrange merchandise transfers to support selling opportunities, client requests, and appointment-based needs.
- Work closely with teams in Marketing, PR, Product Management, Logistics, and Global Merchandising on launches, campaigns, events, exhibitions, and photo shoots.
- Build productive working relationships with salon staff and internal stakeholders across functions.
- Create monthly High Jewelry updates that keep retail teams informed about new items and sales approaches that reinforce brand loyalty.
- Complete ad hoc analyses, reporting tasks, and other special projects as required.
Qualifications
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience in allocations or merchandising. Background in luxury retail or jewelry is considered an advantage. Strong Excel ability is essential, along with sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, negotiation and influencing ability, problem-solving, adaptability, flexibility, and initiative.
