Job description
Overview
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Merchandising team to maintain optimal store inventory levels and ensure merchandise assortments enhance profitability. This position involves close collaboration with salons and cross-functional teams to carry out merchandising initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with salons to facilitate merchandise transfers that stimulate sales and meet client demands
- Work alongside the team to guarantee goods are shipped accurately
- Oversee daily and weekly stock allocation and replenishment within the global salon network
- Adjust inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock aligned with market demand
- Carry out daily analyses of sales data
- Manage stock allocations for new product launches, as well as salon openings and re-openings
- Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to review assortment criteria across the global retail network
- Analyze stock and sales performance, providing reports on trends at both store and regional levels
- Support inventory needs for marketing campaigns
- Foster and sustain productive relationships with global cross-functional partners and salon teams
- Work with senior analysts and managers to execute product distribution plans aimed at optimizing profitability
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 to 3 years of experience in merchandising or planning
- Experience in luxury retail or jewelry is advantageous
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate effectively with peers and diverse teams
- Proven capability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and in team settings in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organizational, priority management, and time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptability, flexibility, and proactive attitude
- Good commercial insight and awareness
