Position Summary

The role involves assisting store managers with fundamental store operations, supporting the training of sales associates, and helping to meet both store and individual sales targets and performance standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass sales and performance targets at personal and store level.
• Assist in training and nurturing a competent sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and hold employees accountable by enforcing company policies and practices.
• Perform opening and closing store duties as per company policies.
• Manage daily store operations and loss prevention in the absence of management.
• Communicate store needs effectively to management.
• Handle bank deposits promptly and accurately.
• Complete all assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Fulfill required training programs.
• Deliver a comprehensive and enjoyable customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Understand and model the Little Burgundy culture to the team.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ambition to succeed in a dynamic retail environment.
• Bilingualism is required for positions in Quebec.
• Willingness to learn and complete training leading to leadership roles or equivalent.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
• Physical capability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as well as stand for extended periods.
• Minimum age of 18 years, with variation possible by region for part-time roles.
• General proficiency in English is necessary to communicate with customers and corporate staff.
