Role Summary

The position supports store managers with fundamental store operations, training sales associates, and meeting sales goals along with performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass store and personal sales targets and performance standards.
  • Assist in training and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Deliver consistent feedback, coaching, and enforce company policies and procedures among staff.
  • Conduct opening and closing duties following company policies.
  • Oversee daily store operations and loss prevention activities during managers' absence.
  • Communicate store needs efficiently to management.
  • Handle bank deposits responsibly.
  • Complete assigned tasks punctually and participate in required training programs.
  • Provide customers with an enjoyable, thorough service experience.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Understand and exemplify Little Burgundy’s culture within the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service abilities.
  • Motivation to succeed in a dynamic retail setting.
  • Bilingualism is preferred for positions in Quebec.
  • Willingness to learn and complete training leading to Sales Lead or equivalent.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Physical capability to climb, stretch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (age requirements may vary by location).
  • Basic proficiency in English to communicate effectively with customers and corporate office staff.
