Job Summary
The role includes consistent completion of all company inventory shipping and handling tasks while observing safety and security policies related to shipping, receiving, and inventory adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass sales goals and personal performance standards
- Ensure company initiatives are executed accurately in line with management direction
- Confirm the correctness of inbound and outbound merchandise
- Validate accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation (POS reports, delivery notes, etc.)
- Properly manage store inventory, including merchandise received or transferred
- Verify that products match the appropriate sizing requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked merchandise area
- Collaborate with the store manager to resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies from other stores or headquarters
- Report stock replenishment requirements to district sales managers, distribution, buying, and merchandising departments
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the store’s leadership team
- Embody and promote the Little Burgundy culture among colleagues
Candidate Requirements
- Previous retail management experience is preferred
- Between 1 and 2 years of retail sales experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to excellent customer service
- A drive to thrive in a dynamic retail setting
- Bilingual ability as needed for Quebec locations
- Willingness to learn and complete training toward a Manager in Training or equivalent role
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Physical capability to climb, stretch, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old (age requirements for part-time roles may vary by region)
- General proficiency in English to effectively engage with all customers and home office staff
