Role Overview
This position focuses on helping customers find the right products and services, improving the shopping experience, and driving sales through informed support and strong service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Present product features and benefits clearly and show customers how items should be used and handled.
- Explain brand quality expectations and product specifications to shoppers.
- Guide customers toward the most suitable product options and respond to questions that support purchase decisions.
- Share details about product warranties, specifications, upkeep, and care instructions.
- Handle customer concerns effectively, resolving issues directly when possible or escalating them when needed, while maintaining high service standards.
- Stay updated on new launches, promotional campaigns, and sales activities.
- Meet sales goals by applying selling techniques, including add-on selling and related-product suggestions.
- Make sure promotions and pricing follow company rules and are displayed accurately.
- Calculate sale amounts and discounts where required and keep accurate sales records.
- Accept and process cash, change, and card payments, and issue invoices and receipts.
- Work as a cashier when needed and handle money with accuracy.
- Follow post-sale procedures and comply fully with repair and return policies.
- Observe company rules for loss prevention, stock control, and operating procedures.
- Support merchandising through proper product placement and display arrangement.
- Maintain excellent store cleanliness, presentation, and grooming standards at all times.
Self-Management and Development
- Set yearly performance goals with the reporting manager and work consistently to achieve them.
- Take responsibility for personal learning by identifying development needs, agreeing on an improvement plan, and pursuing growth beyond formal training.
- Keep knowledge current by following professional updates, new methods, and relevant industry developments through ongoing learning.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School or Diploma qualification.
- Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong product and brand understanding.
