Job Overview
Join Hilton as a Safety Agent at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, where your role is pivotal in ensuring a secure and safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors alike. Your presence and proactive actions will help maintain a welcoming atmosphere while preventing and addressing safety and security concerns throughout the hotel premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveil the hotel’s interior and exterior areas continuously to detect and mitigate potential safety hazards, security threats, and any undesirable conditions, safeguarding people and property.
- Conduct scheduled security patrols and inspections to uphold safety standards and maintain a secure environment.
- Assist in preliminary investigations by collecting pertinent information, documenting incidents meticulously, and supporting management with comprehensive reports and follow-up measures.
- Maintain and update thorough documentation including security and incident reports, patrol logs, and related records to ensure accuracy.
- React swiftly and effectively to emergencies such as fires, medical situations, accidents, and other safety threats, prioritizing protection of everyone on site.
- Monitor and maintain fire prevention and life safety equipment and systems, ensuring full compliance with hotel policies and legal regulations.
- Support management in handling disturbances, accidents, and other urgent security matters requiring immediate intervention.
- Deliver top-notch guest service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and efficiently.
- Uphold health and safety protocols, adhering to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) guidelines, internal policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Previous experience in security roles, ideally within hospitality or high-traffic environments, is highly valued.
- Valid certifications in fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures enhance your suitability for the role.
- Strong familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and incident response strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with guests, colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
- Personal presentation and professionalism aligned with Hilton’s brand and company standards.
- Experience with CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and security documentation is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems efficiently, and make informed decisions promptly.
- Team player mentality coupled with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Flexibility and adaptability to react to dynamic situations, emergencies, and operational needs effectively.
