Role overview
Rentokil Pest Control is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Rookie Pest Control Technician to support clients in the Dublin 6 area, including Rathmines and Ranelagh. This is a permanent full-time position with a 39-hour working week.
The role includes visiting customers from the branch network and delivering pest control service to a consistently high standard. Full training will be provided, so prior pest control expertise is not required.
Compensation
The position offers a base salary of €30,300 per year, with monthly pay.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain an up-to-date and high-quality service for your client portfolio.
- Provide practical advice and professional guidance to customers on pest-related issues.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports for every visit so clients understand the actions taken on their premises.
- Work towards delivering a complete resolution to each customer’s pest control problem.
- Present yourself in a neat, professional manner at all times.
Training and suitability
No prior specialist knowledge is needed, as the company will provide comprehensive training.
Requirements
- A full, clean driving licence.
- Strong interest in pest control, with no fear of heights or pests.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage time well, prioritise tasks, and stay organised during a busy workday.
- A positive, approachable attitude with the confidence to greet customers, spot business opportunities, and support growth.
