Position Overview

This permanent full-time role as a Restaurant Assistant Manager is based in High River, Alberta. The position requires fluency in English, a secondary school graduation certificate, and between two to three years of relevant experience. The weekly working hours range from 35 to 40.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning
  • Analyze revenue data to assess and control labour costs
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of restaurant staff
  • Develop and assign staff work schedules
  • Conduct staff training to enhance service and operational standards
  • Handle cash management including balancing cash drawers and completing financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws and regulations
  • Maintain and organize inventory levels
  • Implement and uphold health and safety standards within the restaurant
  • Contribute to marketing plan development and execution
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly
  • Deliver exemplary customer service at all times
  • Manage event planning and execution within the restaurant environment
