The position is a full-time maternity leave cover for 12 months based in the Midlands region encompassing Carlow, Laois, Louth, Kildare, Meath, and Wicklow, with hybrid work arrangements. The role reports directly to the Tenant Relations Coordinator and involves a 39-hour workweek (Monday to Friday).
Salary range: €34,256 - €44,331 per annum, with offers typically made in the lower to middle segment based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Effectively implement the Company’s Rent & Arrears Policy across the designated region, ensuring achievement of targets related to overall rent arrears percentages, accuracy of balances, and correct rent charges.
- Maintain strict rent arrears controls, ensuring total arrears do not exceed 3% of annual rental income.
- Ensure rent balances for all residents are accurate at all times.
- Conduct annual and periodic rent reviews for all accounts.
- Manage the coordination of quarterly rent statement issuance to residents, processed through Waterford.
- Verify receipt and accuracy of income documentation for all residents upon rent calculation.
- Ensure account accuracy at tenancy start and termination dates.
- Collaborate with Local Authorities regarding HAP and RAS applications.
- Perform general office functions such as filing, records management, responding to rental inquiries, handling mail, and photocopying.
- Prepare and deliver reports as required.
- Coordinate with the legal department for submissions to the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB).
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team liaising with internal teams and external clients and agencies regularly.
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Several years of experience in credit control or collections is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain composure and politeness when engaging with upset or angry clients.
- Excellent numerical proficiency.
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
- Proven administrative experience over several years is essential.
- Previous experience in collections represents an advantage.
- Proficient computer skills, especially in MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Self-driven with flexibility towards work tasks and environment.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines within a team setting.
- Possession of a full driver’s licence and access to a car is mandatory.
