Role Overview
This position centers on enhancing the digital footprint of an animal welfare campaign by strategically managing and expanding its presence on social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The chosen candidate will convert existing video footage into engaging short videos designed to captivate audiences and encourage support for animal causes globally, especially targeting donors from the US and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a tailored content calendar for each social media channel.
- Edit and produce captivating short-form videos from supplied footage, prioritizing viewer engagement and shareability.
- Craft compelling captions and publish posts across all designated social media outlets.
- Track, interpret, and report on performance metrics to refine upcoming content strategies.
- Work collaboratively on creative concepts that deepen emotional ties between donors and the animals supported.
- Ensure a consistent and authentic brand voice throughout all communication channels.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing social media profiles for brands or organizations, particularly with video content.
- Advanced proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
- Strong storytelling abilities with the capacity to write engaging captions for varied audiences.
- Knowledge of analytics software to monitor social media results effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple platforms and deadlines efficiently.
- A strong passion for animal welfare and the aptitude to convey this enthusiasm through digital storytelling.
- Experience engaging with international audiences will be considered an asset.
