Job description

About the Opportunity

Join a forward-thinking, virtual psychiatric practice designed to blend the security and benefits of hospital employment with the independence of private psychiatry. Clinicians here gain true flexibility—set your hours, choose your patient mix, and enjoy fewer administrative tasks, all within a fully remote outpatient framework serving Louisiana.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 100% remote outpatient psychiatric care—no on-site, inpatient, IOP, or crisis duties required.
  • Treat patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
  • Manage patients across the lifespan, including children (for board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists), adults, and seniors.
  • Maintain standard appointment structures (60-minute assessments, 30-minute follow-up visits).
  • Utilize a robust internal referral network for therapy support.
  • Benefit from comprehensive operational services: scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.
  • Exercise genuine autonomy over your weekly schedule, session timing within clinical standards, and the types of clients you see—without volume pressures or visit limitations.

Benefits

  • W-2 employment with reliable, competitive compensation ($325,000–$375,000+ yearly), plus initial guaranteed incentives.
  • Employer covers up to 100% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums.
  • 100% employer-funded occurrence-based malpractice insurance.
  • 401(k) with immediate vesting and company match.
  • PTO, paid sick days, and 11 paid holidays annually.
  • Paid parental leave and long-term retention rewards, such as a paid sabbatical after five years.
  • Reimbursement and dedicated days for CME activities.
  • Licensing support, including payment of upfront costs.
  • Fully provisioned technology suite.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree; board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
  • Unrestricted, active medical license (with option for multi-state licensure support).
  • Keen interest in a remote, outpatient-only telepsychiatry role.
  • Aptitude for using modern, streamlined clinical technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated strength in clinical decision-making, communication, and interprofessional collaboration.

Additional Information

  • Both full-time and part-time W-2 arrangements are available.
  • Participation in E-Verify for employment eligibility.
  • Reasonable accommodations provided for applicants as needed.
  • Committed to equal opportunity for all backgrounds and protected groups.
