Position Overview
Temple University's Athletics Department seeks a Clinical Nutritionist to join its team. This role focuses on meeting the nutritional needs of all intercollegiate athletic teams by providing in-depth nutritional guidance, education, and support to student-athletes, emphasizing injury prevention, rehabilitation, healthy eating, and lifestyle enhancement.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $35,600 to $63,740, categorized under Salary Grade T24 as per the university's salary structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily nutritional requirements of intercollegiate athletes
- Provide individualized counseling on nutrition for exercise, competition, recovery from training or injuries, weight management, hydration, and supplementation
- Collaborate with healthcare and sports medicine professionals to support athlete wellbeing
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director / Sport Medicine
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related discipline
- At least one year of professional experience in nutrition
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Dietetics/Nutrition in Pennsylvania
- Proficient with spreadsheets and relevant database systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
- Minimum of three years experience at the NCAA Division I collegiate level

- Professional expertise in current nutrition, food, and health issues with a focus on sports nutrition research
- Commitment to continuing education within sports dietetics
