Role purpose

This position is focused on managing an existing portfolio of relationships, bringing in fresh relationships, and consistently delivering the sales outcomes linked to those accounts.

Organization overview

The hiring organization is Aditya Birla Capital, specifically Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company (ABSLAMC), a joint venture formed in 1994 between Aditya Birla Group and Sunlife Financial Inc. ABSLAMC is a major asset management business in India, managing Birla Sunlife Mutual Funds and operating as one of the country's leading fund houses.

As of November 2017, the company reported an average AUM of over INR 2.45 lakh crores, ranked first in Fixed Income AUM and fifth in Equity AUM among 42 fund houses, and served a customer base of roughly 5.2 million. Its reach spans more than 200 locations, with around 65,000 IFAs, 210 national distributors, and 85 banking partnerships. The organization also had offshore representation in Singapore, Dubai, and Mauritius, along with an employee strength of about 1,250.

ABSLAMC offers a broad set of investment products including equity schemes, hybrid funds, debt and treasury products, portfolio advisory services for high net worth individuals, and offshore funds for non-resident Indians.
