Role Location and Team
This Registry Officer position is based in Ealing, London, with options for remote work, within the Governance & Compliance team of the Institute.
Employment Details
The position is permanent, offering a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend work. The salary for this role is set at 30,000 annually.
Primary Responsibilities
The core responsibility involves managing student records and administrative processes throughout the student lifecycle, from admission to graduation, across all current and upcoming programs offered by the Institute. The role also entails administering Student Finance England (SFE) funding procedures including organizing annual course setups, processing student registrations, and confirming attendance. Additionally, this role supports the rollout of records management practices such as enrolment, ensuring strict adherence to the Institute's as well as partner validation policies and regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven administrative experience within higher education or a comparable environment.
- Proficiency with various office productivity tools, ideally Microsoft 365.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively across different audience levels including students and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- High competency in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage pressure and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Independent working capability with a proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
