About the Role

The Bud Flanagan Ambulatory Inpatients (AMBIN) is a specialized haemato-oncology transplant day unit that offers inpatient-level treatments within an outpatient environment. Our patients receive supportive care, systemic anti-cancer treatments, and cellular therapy administration. We are currently looking for a motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to become part of our friendly and committed team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, patient-focused care to complex haemato-oncology patients.
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic and highly specialized clinical setting.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the service through quality improvement and development initiatives.
  • Commit to continuous professional growth and learning.
  • Plan, document, deliver, and review evidence-based nursing care collaboratively with shift coordinators.
  • Enhance understanding of cancer patient needs and diverse treatment methods offered in the unit.
  • Develop leadership skills by managing shifts under the guidance of senior nursing staff.
