About the Role
The Bud Flanagan Ambulatory Inpatients (AMBIN) is a specialized haemato-oncology transplant day unit that offers inpatient-level treatments within an outpatient environment. Our patients receive supportive care, systemic anti-cancer treatments, and cellular therapy administration. We are currently looking for a motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to become part of our friendly and committed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, patient-focused care to complex haemato-oncology patients.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic and highly specialized clinical setting.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the advancement of the service through quality improvement and development initiatives.
- Commit to continuous professional growth and learning.
- Plan, document, deliver, and review evidence-based nursing care collaboratively with shift coordinators.
- Enhance understanding of cancer patient needs and diverse treatment methods offered in the unit.
- Develop leadership skills by managing shifts under the guidance of senior nursing staff.
