About Libra Solutions
Libra Solutions streamlines complex legal procedures for plaintiffs, heirs, attorneys, and medical professionals by integrating financial resources with innovative technology. Our businesses, including MoveDocs, Oasis Financial, and Probate Advance, lead their sectors by facilitating efficient medical and financial service coordination, offering plaintiff funding, and enabling faster inheritance access. Our nationwide network encompasses over 45,000 attorneys and 10,000 healthcare providers, delivering faster, seamless outcomes.
Position Overview
This opportunity is ideal for former plaintiff attorneys interested in transitioning from practicing law to leveraging their expertise on a broader scale. The Regional Vice President of Business Development will oversee strategic growth, fortify law firm relationships, develop personnel, and increase MoveDocs' market influence within California, Nevada, and Arizona.
This strategic leadership role is focused on collaboration with major personal injury law firms to improve their operations, provide quality medical care access, and apply MoveDocs’ technology platform. It requires skills in relationship building, negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership rather than traditional sales tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional strategies to maximize revenue from law firms and providers.
- Identify and cultivate important law firm partnerships.
- Develop and implement growth plans targeting new clients, account expansion, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
- Utilize tools like Salesforce and Power BI for performance tracking and opportunity identification.
- Guide and mentor a team of Business Development Executives, fostering accountability and professional development.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and manage budgets, sales activities, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and other departments to share insights and influence strategy.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree.
- At least three years of experience practicing plaintiff personal injury law.
- Deep understanding of personal injury litigation, medical workflows, law firm operations, and settlement procedures.
- Expertise in client acquisition and retention.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, particularly with senior-level decision makers.
- Residence in California, Nevada, or Arizona.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
- Preferred: Leadership experience, existing ties to the plaintiff personal injury sector, familiarity with medical providers, lien resolution, legal technology, and case management.
- Business acumen with skills to analyze performance metrics.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay package and comprehensive benefits including multiple medical plans, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with strong company matching, flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care, and paid time off to support work-life balance.
