About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Programmes Officer specializing in Capital Planning to join a public sector client based in Dublin City Centre. This dynamic and multifaceted role, classified at Assistant Principal Officer level, focuses on the creation and execution of data-driven strategies addressing major infrastructure challenges.

Key Duties

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans and programs related to capital expenditure
  • Analyzing data to generate strategic insights supporting decision-making
  • Engaging and managing relationships with stakeholders including government agencies and external partners
  • Monitoring projects and reporting progress against established objectives

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least eight years of experience in capital programs, strategic capital planning, infrastructure delivery, contract or commercial management, PPP operations, or similar fields within public sector or regulated environments
  • Strong ability to manage and negotiate with key stakeholders such as government departments and external partners
  • Knowledge of public sector funding mechanisms, governance structures, Infrastructure Guidelines, and compliance with Public Procurement rules
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently; possession of a valid and clean Irish driving license is mandatory

Compensation

The salary follows the Assistant Principal Officer pay scale effective from February 1, 2026, starting at €82,290 and progressing up to €102,550.
