Job Description
This senior role at Auckland District Court offers Court Registry Officers the chance to take on a more advanced and specialist position, acknowledging their expertise, sound judgement, and readiness to handle higher-level responsibilities. As a Senior Court Registry Officer (Senior CRO), you will be integral to Justice Services Civil and Family Court operations. Working within a Registry team, you will help ensure high-quality customer service, efficient case movement, and support for judicial processes.
You will utilize your advanced knowledge and experience to resolve complex and technical issues, promote consistent court procedures and statutory duties, and contribute to peer development through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress complex or high-risk cases effectively.
- Provide expert advice on court processes and statutory requirements.
- Support the overall operation of the Civil and Family Court Registry.
- Mentor and train colleagues to enhance team capability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute towards continuous improvements in processes and services.
- Engage constructively with a variety of stakeholders to deliver court services.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates should display strong judgement and decision-making capabilities, particularly in complex or sensitive circumstances. Experience in mentoring or training others and contributing to improvements in service delivery will be valued. Candidates should demonstrate resilience and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $67,066 to $90,008 per year. The offered salary will reflect skills and experience, with flexibility to attract strong candidates.
