Role overview
We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager for Germany on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle the application review and all subsequent hiring steps. In this role, you will help raise brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support commercial expansion across retail and digital sales channels. The position sits at the junction of marketing, sales, and strategic partnerships, with responsibility for planning and delivering regional initiatives that improve market presence, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
This is a hands-on and strategic role suited to a commercially focused marketer who can work with external partners, agencies, and internal teams to improve retail results, support launches, and strengthen the overall customer experience. The role also requires travel within the assigned region when needed to support partner activity, events, and wider business priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver regional channel marketing plans that support business goals, brand direction, and sales targets while improving marketing return on investment.
- Co-develop marketing plans with retail, marketplace, and distribution partners to increase awareness, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
- Strengthen retail execution through merchandising, sales enablement, product training, and in-store marketing activity.
- Run integrated campaigns that may include point-of-sale activity, digital advertising, promotions, and partner-led programs.
- Assist with the rollout of new products, services, and platform updates through coordinated cross-functional planning and execution.
- Track campaign results, review performance data, and turn findings into recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain effective working relationships with agencies, external stakeholders, and internal colleagues to keep campaigns aligned and delivered smoothly.
- Travel within the assigned region as required for partner meetings, events, and business needs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in channel marketing, partner marketing, trade marketing, or a comparable role within retail, e-commerce, consumer technology, or digital content.
- Demonstrated success in building and expanding marketing partnerships with retailers, distributors, or strategic accounts.
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing channels, advertising approaches, and customer acquisition methods.
- Strong analytical ability with the capacity to convert marketing data and performance results into practical commercial insights.
- Proven experience working across functions in fast-moving environments while handling several stakeholders and priorities at once.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of French is an added advantage.
- A strategic mindset paired with a practical, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven approach.
- Interest in books, reading culture, consumer technology, digital content, subscriptions, or similar sectors is preferred.
Benefits
- 100% remote working setup with flexibility and autonomy.
- Competitive compensation with the potential for performance-linked bonus pay.
- Full healthcare coverage and employee benefits available from the first day.
- Four extra long weekends each year around public holidays.
- Paid volunteer days to encourage community involvement.
- No cap on sick leave.
- Flexible spending account.
- Dedicated budget for learning and professional growth.
- Complimentary device and access to digital content-related benefits.
- Regular learning sessions and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Improved maternity and paternity leave support.
- A collaborative, supportive, and growth-minded culture with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
