About the Role
We are seeking an Events Manager to lead the strategy and execution of prominent B2B events within Amazon's Devices & Services division. This position demands a strategically minded and autonomous event professional who can convert partnership engagement opportunities into quantifiable results, develop robust cross-functional collaborations, and exercise strong financial oversight in budgetary decisions.
The role involves close collaboration with senior leaders from FireTV and Alexa product teams, Developer Marketing, Business Development, and D&S leadership to align event strategies with product roadmaps, partner enablement initiatives, and executive communication plans. The position requires approximately 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic frameworks for FireTV and Alexa event initiatives that highlight technical capabilities, business advantages, and differentiation.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance partner engagement quality, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Oversee complete planning and delivery of major industry events such as CES, Alexa and FireTV partner summits, developer conferences, and key partner showcases.
- Manage corporate events for D&S executives to promote partner engagement, business development, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure flawless event execution through meticulous project management, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and contingency strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with FireTV and Alexa product divisions, Developer Marketing, Business Development, PR, and other critical stakeholders.
- Prepare and monitor event budgets demonstrating fiscal responsibility and maximizing return on investment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional marketing experience excluding internships.
- Proven ability to leverage data and metrics to inform improvements.
- Experience presenting results to senior leadership effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record influencing innovation within partner ecosystems through successful solutions or programs at enterprise customer level.
- Over 7 years of experience in negotiations and vendor management.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $125,400 to $169,600 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, compensation packages include signing bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
