About Topgolf
Topgolf blends golf with entertainment in a high-energy venue setting where each shift brings something different. The company is looking for someone who wants more than a routine role and is excited to contribute to a fun, fast-moving environment.
About the Role
The Regional Marketing Director is a field-based leader responsible for increasing guest traffic, acquisition, and revenue across a defined group of Topgolf venues. The role connects national brand direction with local execution, turning campaigns, promotions, and membership initiatives into market-specific plans that deliver measurable outcomes.
You will oversee the full local marketing landscape for your territory, including seasonal pass and membership activation, walk-in and reserved traffic growth, community partnerships, and guest experience support in the market. The position sits between brand strategy, data, and operations, and requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Local Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Create and run market-specific marketing plans that increase venue traffic, reservations, and revenue while staying aligned with brand guidelines and national priorities.
- Adapt national promotions, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty or membership initiatives to suit each market’s guest mix and competitive environment.
- Act as the main marketing contact in the field, working closely with General Managers and Regional Operations teams to support in-venue execution and the guest experience.
- Monitor local market shifts, competitor activity, and new opportunities, then respond quickly with appropriate actions.
Traffic, Reservations & Revenue Growth
- Take ownership of local traffic performance goals, including reserved play, walk-in visits, repeat visits, and spending per visit.
- Design targeted promotions and local offers to create demand during slower periods and take advantage of peak opportunities such as summer and holidays.
- Lead awareness and conversion efforts for the seasonal pass program across the territory, both online and inside venues.
- Work with venue teams to improve the guest journey from booking through the in-bay experience.
Membership, Pass & Loyalty Activation
- Increase acquisition and engagement for membership and loyalty programs, especially among frequent guests and avid golfers.
- Use locally relevant tactics to promote membership and seasonal pass offers in venues with strong golf-focused audiences.
- Coordinate with marketing and CRM partners to deliver segmented messaging through the most effective local channels.
- Bring back guest feedback and market insights from the field to help shape membership and loyalty strategy.
Community Partnerships & Local Sponsorships
- Develop and manage local partnerships, sponsorships, and cross-promotions with businesses, golf clubs, sports groups, and community organizations.
- Build connections with local media, influencers, and community leaders to strengthen brand visibility.
- Support golf-related activations and industry partnerships that deepen engagement with the golf community.
- Use local sports, entertainment, and community calendars to create timely promotions that support revenue goals.
Digital, Social & In-Market Communications
- Oversee local digital marketing efforts such as paid social, local search and SEO, email, and geo-targeted ads in partnership with the performance marketing team.
- Manage venue-level social media channels so the content stays consistent with the brand, feels locally relevant, and drives engagement and conversions.
- Keep messaging aligned across digital, social, PR, and in-venue touchpoints.
- Identify local creators and brand advocates who can help broaden organic reach.
Insights, Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on territory performance, including traffic trends, campaign return on investment, membership growth, and guest satisfaction.
- Use analytics tools, CRM insights, and local market research to guide decisions and improve spending efficiency.
- Test new local approaches, learn from results, and share successful practices with the wider field marketing team.
