About the Role
Meta is seeking a seasoned Regional Logistics Operations Specialist to oversee site services and technical logistics across a portfolio of data center and infrastructure facilities within a designated region. This role involves managing third-party logistics partners, standardizing processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as data center operations, procurement, and finance is critical to streamline logistics workflows, support the hardware asset lifecycle, and deliver consistent operational excellence aligned with Meta's infrastructure supply chain standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize logistics operations regionally for data center site services, including managing inbound/outbound freight, hardware asset transfers, and inventory oversight across multiple sites.
- Manage third-party logistics providers and site service vendors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and performance benchmarks.
- Leverage data analytics and supply chain reporting tools to track logistics performance, identify trends, and implement ongoing improvements.
- Drive process standardization across sites by developing scalable logistics workflows to support data center expansion and consistent operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and compliance teams to uphold Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory compliance in logistics functions.
- Act as a regional expert for technical logistics, facilitating cross-team communication related to inventory systems and logistics network strategy.
- Create and maintain operational plans with partner teams, aligning logistics objectives from short-term to long-range supply chain goals.
- Integrate systems such as ERP, warehouse management, and transportation management to establish a unified logistics ecosystem.
- Evaluate business impact on logistics operations, implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuous compliance and operational continuity.
- Travel approximately 30% of the time for site visits, vendor evaluations, and on-site process enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- More than six years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or site services within technical infrastructure or data centers.
- Proven track record of managing third-party logistics providers and ensuring vendor compliance with operational standards.
- Proficiency with ERP platforms like Oracle, warehouse management, transportation management, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Experience diagnosing process weaknesses and creating scalable logistics processes across multiple regional locations.
- Demonstrated ability to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in logistics or supply chain contexts.
- Skilled in using data analytics to monitor performance, identify improvements, and effectively communicate insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience incorporating AI solutions to optimize workflows and drive measurable operational benefits such as efficiency gains or quality enhancements.
- Knowledge of ethical AI practices including risk evaluation, bias reduction, and quality assurance.
- Active engagement in AI skill advancement including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Expertise in data center logistics covering server rack movement, hardware asset lifecycle management, and spare parts inventory control.
- Ability to influence regional logistics strategy and contribute to impactful cross-organization initiatives.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 to $163,000, excluding bonuses, equity, and other benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
