Role Summary
The Regional Logistics Executive will manage logistics operations to ensure timely project delivery and efficient vendor payment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, planning, health logistics, and finance. Maintaining operational and cost KPIs and streamlining processes across the embellishment center and logistics functions are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, implement, and report logistics and embellishment center KPIs to enhance logistics performance.
- Standardize practices and procedures between planning and logistics departments.
- Coordinate with the planning team to optimize inventory levels in the embellishment center and improve warehouse/inventory management.
- Drive Just-In-Time delivery with packing material suppliers without disrupting embellishment center operations.
- Stay informed on legislative and safety regulations related to logistics and transport concerning the embellishment center.
- Recognize dispatch bottlenecks and their supply chain implications.
- Generate purchase requests as per contractual rates for logistics vendors and coordinate timely payments with finance.
- Work with third-party logistics providers and transporters to maintain efficient and cost-effective transportation.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of service levels and pursue continuous improvements to streamline embellishment center operations.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering is mandatory.
- Proficiency with SAP MM module and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Knowledge of SAP ARIBA, Oracle Transportation Management, and Power BI is preferred.
- Experience managing projects with demonstrated leadership and accountability.
- Background in FMCG logistics, manufacturing, planning, or supply chain is an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare or food FMCG product logistics is beneficial but not required.
- Proven track record in improving manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or transportation service levels.
- Strong sense of urgency, result-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering outcomes.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
