Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and drive field operations throughout the Southeast. This role involves launching new projects, building and managing teams, handling logistics, and fostering strong client relationships. It requires hands-on leadership and frequent travel, not a desk-based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the initiation and mobilization of new landfill gas projects.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and cultivate field personnel talent.
• Oversee multiple field crews spread across the Southeastern region.
• Manage scheduling, travel arrangements, lodging, vehicle assignment, and equipment logistics.
• Oversee accurate employee timekeeping and payroll processes.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors and technicians.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landfill owners and site managers.
• Support project estimating, planning, and continuous operational enhancements.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the development of scalable systems and procedures for company growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least seven years of relevant experience in landfill gas operations.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple crews or overseeing regional operations.
• Strong expertise in landfill gas collection systems, pumps, condensate management, and field work.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Residence within the Southeastern United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time.
• Capability to work effectively both onsite in the field and in office settings.
• Pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Competence to perform duties safely in industrial environments.
