Role Overview
We seek a highly analytical, business-focused Regional HR Business Partner who transcends transactional HR duties to become a strategic advisor to the business. This role demands proficiency in diagnosing business and workforce challenges and uncovering their underlying causes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Regional Heads and business leaders to ensure alignment of human resource strategies with core business priorities.
- Serve as the chief HR consultant for the designated region.
- Convert business goals into concrete people-focused initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to guide and support business decision-making.
- Work with hiring managers to facilitate workforce planning and guarantee timely recruitment for critical positions.
- Enhance hiring quality through structured and effective selection processes.
- Support onboarding and assimilation of new employees.
- Lead goal setting, performance appraisals, calibration exercises, and talent-related discussions.
- Coach managers on conducting performance talks and manage performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Foster a culture centered on high performance.
- Design and execute employee engagement drives throughout all locations.
- Analyze engagement metrics, devise and apply action plans to improve employee experience.
- Organize leadership connection programs and employee forums to boost engagement.
- Identify gaps in capabilities and propose developmental interventions.
- Assist in succession planning and execute talent reviews.
- Champion learning initiatives for managers and employees and coach leaders on people management.
- Handle employee grievances with professionalism and confidentiality; conduct investigations when required.
- Resolve workplace disputes using appropriate conflict resolution methods while maintaining a healthy employee relations environment.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory compliances; oversee HR audits and policy governance.
- Maintain precise employee data in HR systems and streamline HR operational processes.
- Monitor people metrics and business dashboards, reporting on attrition, hiring, engagement, productivity and performance; recommend enhancements based on data trends.
- Support organizational restructuring, change management, and initiatives aimed at improving team effectiveness and managerial capabilities.
- Promote culture-building activities throughout the region.
- Travel approximately one week a month within the assigned region to strengthen business partnerships, employee relations, and support regional objectives.
Qualifications
- MBA or PGDM specialized in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Relevant HR certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years of advancing experience in Human Resources.
- At least 3 to 5 years specifically in an HR Business Partner capacity.
- Experience collaborating with regional or operational field teams.
- Preferred background in rapid-growth, fast-paced business environments.
- Proven track record managing large employee bases over multiple locations.
