Job description

Role overview

Tesla is hiring an experienced, strategic Regional Campaign Lead to support its North America Sales and Delivery Organization and partner with the Field Sales team. This position focuses on building, launching, and improving regional outbound programs that raise brand visibility and strengthen market penetration. The role also includes scaling initiatives across events, self-serve experiences, and media opportunities.

In this position, you will help expand multiple high-impact top-of-funnel programs. You’ll work across teams, guide complex efforts, and create solid strategies that help increase regional market share. A strong focus on performance tracking and KPI analysis is essential, and you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver programs successfully from planning through execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of regional event, media, and self-serve expansion initiatives, from planning and coordination to execution, while keeping leadership priorities, company objectives, and stakeholder needs aligned.
  • Use sound independent judgment to address logistical and operational issues that come up during event planning or delivery, always choosing solutions that support Tesla’s best interests.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partners, vendors, local media, and cross-functional teams to improve event operations, resource support, and community outreach while contributing to regional growth.
  • Negotiate with outside stakeholders and surface opportunities to leadership that can meaningfully support Tesla’s mission and business growth.
  • Track event and campaign KPIs, carry out post-event assessments, and apply data-backed improvements to strengthen processes and scale successful regional programs.
  • Act as a regional leader for top-of-funnel programs by offering strategic recommendations and insights that help shape growth direction.
  • Oversee regional budgets and make smart resource-allocation decisions that support growth targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience, along with 4+ years in demand generation or strategic program management.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, execution, and optimization of demand generation initiatives, including experience advising senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to negotiate vendor partnerships and contracts with limited oversight, plus hands-on budget management experience for scalable top-of-funnel programs.
  • Comfort handling several projects at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, uncertain environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for working with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of the customer journey and sales cycle, along with a genuine interest in Tesla’s mission.
  • Advanced analytical ability to assess opportunities using data, trends, and tools to measure program effectiveness.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay as a full-time employee.
  • Medical coverage options with $0 payroll deduction.
  • Family-building, fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support.
  • Dental coverage, including orthodontia, plus vision plans with $0 paycheck contribution options.
  • Company-paid HSA contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA.
  • Healthcare and dependent care FSA options.
  • 401(k) with employer match, employee stock purchase plans, and other financial benefits.
  • Company-paid basic life and AD&D coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance, with a 90-day waiting period.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Sick and vacation time, flex time for salaried roles, accrued hours for hourly roles, and paid holidays.
  • Back-up childcare and parenting support resources.
  • Optional benefits such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft and legal services, and pet insurance.
  • Weight loss and tobacco cessation programs.
  • Tesla Babies program.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Employee discounts and perks.
