Job description
Role overview
PAX is seeking a senior marketing leader to take charge of the group’s global brand marketing, overseas growth engine, marketing systems, and international expansion agenda. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position carries end-to-end ownership of brand awareness, market share, marketing effectiveness, and revenue growth across global markets.
The role is based onsite in Manchester, UK, and is designed for a C-suite executive who can build a scalable, standardized global marketing framework that supports sustained business growth.
Core responsibilities
You will shape the long-term international marketing direction for key markets such as Europe, the Middle East, and other regions. This includes creating repeatable workflows, content systems, and advertising structures that can support efficient and scalable operations.
You will lead brand positioning, brand identity enhancement, storytelling, and the development of global intellectual property. A major part of the role involves designing localized campaigns that reflect regional culture, customer behavior, and regulatory requirements in order to strengthen brand recognition and competitive positioning.
You will oversee a full omnichannel growth ecosystem spanning social platforms, influencer and creator partnerships, content marketing, paid media, offline promotions, and trade shows. The role also covers lead generation, customer retention, conversion optimization, and continuous improvement of acquisition efficiency.
Execution and performance management are central to the role. You will translate annual business goals into clear marketing KPIs and create annual, quarterly, and monthly action plans. You will regularly review campaign data and market feedback, then adjust strategy to ensure growth and revenue targets are met.
You will also own marketing budget planning, allocation, control, and post-campaign analysis to maximize return on investment. In addition, you will develop and maintain strong external partnerships across media, influencers, and channels.
Team leadership is another key part of the position. You will recruit, organize, and manage a cross-functional global marketing team across brand, advertising, content, social, channel, and events functions, while building appraisal and development systems to raise capability and execution quality.
Finally, you will monitor market trends, competitor activity, regulatory changes, and evolving customer demand, turning insights into practical recommendations that help the business respond quickly and build durable growth advantages.
Requirements
We are looking for a marketing executive with at least 8 years of end-to-end experience in cross-border and global brand marketing, including 3+ years in senior leadership roles such as CMO or Marketing Director. Candidates should have a proven history of building international marketing systems from the ground up and successfully launching and scaling overseas brands and revenue.
Strong capability in global brand development, omnichannel digital advertising, social media management, and influencer marketing is essential, along with the ability to localize strategy effectively across different markets.
Deep familiarity with the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and other major international markets is important, including knowledge of local consumer preferences, platform algorithms, and compliance expectations. The ideal candidate can balance brand building with performance marketing and design differentiated regional strategies that reduce risk and improve market penetration.
The role also requires strong commercial judgment, a broad business mindset, and a results-focused approach with a sharp eye on brand performance, traffic, conversion, and revenue. Excellent leadership, cross-functional coordination, negotiation, and resilience under pressure are expected in a fast-scaling environment.
A bachelor’s degree or higher is required, along with excellent written and spoken English skills and the ability to prepare high-quality marketing and business communications independently.
The candidate must be eligible to work full-time in the UK without visa sponsorship. Occasional travel to Mainland China and Hong Kong is required.
