Job description
About the Role
Tesla is hiring a Mobile Service Dispatcher in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland to support its mobile service operation. This role sits at the intersection of customer care, coordination, and technical service, so it suits someone who is comfortable working with people while also understanding vehicle service workflows. The successful candidate will help keep mobile repairs moving efficiently for one of the most advanced EV brands in the world.
To do well in this position, you should be highly organised, energetic, able to work efficiently, and genuinely interested in Tesla’s brand and service standards.
Key Duties
- Arrange repair activity in line with new and used vehicle warranty rules, procedures, and technical requirements.
- Assess whether an issue can be fixed remotely, handled over the phone, or needs in-person technician support.
- Keep customers informed by text, phone, email, and internal messaging about service progress, appointment changes, payment-related updates, and general queries.
- Set customer appointments into hour-block windows to maximise technician productivity and mobile route efficiency.
- Handle roadside service requests and help coordinate support for customer vehicles.
- Work with service leadership to manage PTO, vehicle downtime or maintenance, and route vehicle allocation so demand is met or exceeded.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support business priorities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring experience from a customer-facing role where strong service standards were essential, ideally in an automotive or technical environment. You should be able to turn technical information into clear, customer-friendly communication and stay calm while managing competing priorities.
This role also calls for strong written and verbal communication in English, the ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid Irish driving licence is required, along with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
Requirements and Working Conditions
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on service delivery, preferably in an automotive or technical setting.
- Good knowledge of parts handling, warranty processes, and the ability to explain technical matters in simple language.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities, stay organised, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills for phone, email, SMS, and other written or spoken customer interactions in English.
- Confidence in managing challenging conversations and easing customer concerns.
- Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid Ireland driver’s licence with a minimum 2-year clean driving history.
