About the Role
Join Red Bull as a Student Marketeer and become part of a vibrant and empowered brand ambassador team globally recognized for its impact. This part-time, on-campus position at Dalhousie University involves connecting with fellow students to promote Red Bull's image and products, enhance brand awareness, and boost sales in your university region. The role offers a flexible schedule beyond a typical 9 to 5 job within a creative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a passionate advocate for Red Bull’s brand, embodying its core values and personality daily.
- Engage students by encouraging product trials, providing knowledgeable answers, and executing innovative campus plans to activate the brand presence.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with campus influencers and local key individuals to broaden Red Bull's reach.
- Drive authentic engagement on personal social media channels with meaningful content related to Red Bull.
- Represent Red Bull at events, ensuring memorable brand experiences for attendees.
- Partner closely with local sales account managers to maintain Red Bull’s visibility and accessibility in outlets on and around campus.
- Identify and help secure new distribution points on university grounds, ensuring retailers meet brand standards.
- Maintain high standards of execution and attention to detail in all marketing and sales activities.
- Regularly collaborate with the team, contribute ideas, and provide detailed and timely reports of activities through an online platform.
- Offer insights on local market trends to contribute to Red Bull’s media business development.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- A strong passion for Red Bull brand and products.
- Outstanding verbal communication skills paired with a charismatic and energetic presence.
- Deeply engaged in student life with solid knowledge of university culture, hotspots, and local insights.
- Socially adept, approachable, and capable of relating well to a diverse range of people.
- Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating responsibility and initiative.
- Ability to balance part-time work with academic commitments, with availability on some evenings and weekends.
- Eager to develop and apply new skills in marketing, negotiation, and sales.
- Well-connected within the campus community and across multiple influential groups.
- Holder of a valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Enrolled as a student at Dalhousie University.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
