About the Role
The Red Bull Student Marketeer program is an energetic and influential ambassador initiative designed to promote the Red Bull brand and products within university campuses and surrounding regions. As a Student Marketeer, you will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness, engaging new consumers, and managing Red Bull's presence on campus. This position involves direct consumer interaction, product sampling, and participation in Red Bull-sponsored events to create memorable brand experiences. The role offers flexibility beyond the typical 9-to-5 workday and fosters a creative and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Red Bull by embodying its brand values and personality in every interaction with consumers and customers.
- Develop and implement a customized and innovative plan to engage students and enliven the brand within the university community.
- Increase brand visibility through product trials and samples, answering consumer questions knowledgeably and positively.
- Establish and maintain strong networks with key local influencers and individuals to enhance brand presence.
- Promote brand engagement on social media channels using genuine and engaging content.
- Support and participate in Red Bull events to deliver exceptional consumer experiences.
- Build partnerships with local sales managers to ensure Red Bull products are prominently available and visible in retail outlets on and around campus.
- Collaborate with sales teams to open new distribution channels and maintain high execution standards in retail environments.
- Maintain meticulous planning and timely reporting of activities using the designated online platform, while contributing valuable local insights to aid Red Bull’s media development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Deep passion for the Red Bull brand and its product line.
- Strong verbal communication skills and an engaging personality characterized by charisma, energy, positivity, and extroversion.
- Active involvement in university life with a comprehensive understanding of the college environment, including the local city's hotspots and relevant activities.
- Highly sociable with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals across multiple contexts.
- Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial approach, responsible, and proactive.
- Capable of balancing part-time work with academic commitments, including availability for some evening and weekend shifts.
- Eager to acquire and apply new competencies, particularly in marketing, sales, and negotiation.
- Well-connected within diverse influential campus groups and individuals.
- Possession of a valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Fluency in English and currently enrolled in university studies.
Additional Information
This position offers compensation at a rate of $19.10 per hour, which is subject to potential adjustment in the future. Red Bull employs artificial intelligence tools during the recruitment screening and selection process.
