Role overview
This remote contract opportunity is for a Recruiter I supporting high-volume hiring within the Commercial Diagnostics division. The role is based in North Carolina and requires availability during standard Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. The assignment is expected to last more than 2 months.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end recruiting process across roughly 50 to 70 open requisitions at a time.
- Hire mainly for Phlebotomist and Courier roles across the Northeast and North Central regions.
- Find and attract talent through job boards, networking, referrals, social platforms, and other proactive sourcing methods.
- Review applicants, assess fit, and determine alignment with role requirements.
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to understand hiring needs and shape recruiting plans.
- Develop and keep active talent pipelines for immediate and future staffing needs.
- Record candidate details and recruiting activity accurately in the applicant tracking system, preferably Workday.
- Communicate promptly with candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring process.
- Track weekly and monthly recruiting targets such as time-to-fill and pipeline goals.
- Follow OFCCP requirements and internal recruiting policies.
- Support onboarding tasks when needed.
- Compile recruiting updates and reports for leadership.
- Handle other recruiting-related or administrative assignments as needed.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree, or 2 to 4 years of professional recruiting experience.
- Background in agency recruiting and/or in-house corporate recruiting.
- Proven ability to source candidates and build strong talent pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred background
- Experience handling high-volume recruiting.
- Prior recruiting exposure in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, or clinical environments.
- Experience hiring for Phlebotomists, Couriers, Medical Assistants, or similar healthcare roles.
- Familiarity with Workday as an ATS.
- Understanding of OFCCP, CAP, or CLIA compliance requirements.
Compensation
The pay rate for this assignment is $30.32 per hour.
