About the Organization
Yellow Freesia Foundation supports women aged 18 to 45 who are living with cancer by offering psychologist-led support groups, workshops, and a member resource hub. The organization is working toward building a nationwide network and is seeking a strategic communicator to help raise awareness and expand its reach.
Role Overview
This opportunity is for a volunteer PR Strategy Lead who will help define how the foundation communicates its mission and connects with the people who need its support. The role is suited to someone who can contribute strategic thinking in a small, developing team.
Key Contributions
- Shape the organization’s public relations strategy and core messaging.
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and press contacts.
- Provide direction for social media and content planning.
- Spot opportunities to grow brand visibility and build partnerships.
