Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media, as well as drive traffic, engagement, and leads through content marketing initiatives that support sales and customer retention.
  • Partner with internal teams, external agencies, industry experts, and media partners to identify and leverage public relations opportunities and create relevant content.
  • Research, draft, and refine press releases, customer communications, and other related documentation.
  • Prepare company spokespersons and thought leaders for media interactions through message development, briefing materials, and media training.
  • Address external media inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends and developments.
  • Align content initiatives with broader brand campaigns to enhance brand visibility and contribute to business growth.
  • Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate success and provide regular reports to management and business leaders.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Expertise in journalism, content creation, media relations, social media marketing, and brand communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities, with a proven track record of producing effective media pitches, messaging documents, and press releases.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Capacity to excel in a dynamic setting, manage multiple tasks, and serve as a crucial link between Sales and Marketing departments.
  • Solid comprehension of both online and offline retail marketing landscapes and consumer engagement tactics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, facilitating effective collaboration across diverse teams and with external stakeholders.
