About the Role

ASUS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Specialist to join our communications team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain comprehensive reports detailing media coverage, influencer activities, company mentions, competitor news, and online reviews.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze earned media and social media coverage across various platforms.
  • Facilitate outreach and cultivate relationships with influencers, media contacts, and partners to expand the company's digital presence.
  • Aid in the creation of presentations, recaps, and materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Input, update, and ensure the accuracy of data within tracking systems and databases.
  • Manage and coordinate orders, requests, and deliverables associated with PR campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough research on media outlets, influencers, competitors, and emerging industry trends.
  • Provide support for campaign execution and assist with special projects as required.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve company objectives.
  • Process orders for media samples promptly.
  • Meet stringent deadlines while simultaneously managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, which may occasionally require working evenings, weekends, or non-standard business hours.
  • Be available for occasional travel to support events, meetings, or activations.
  • Draft press releases, blog posts, award submissions, newsletters, and other content to promote company initiatives, products, and services.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's messaging and brand voice across all communication channels.
  • Develop media kits and other press materials to support PR initiatives.
  • Coordinate interviews and media appearances for company spokespeople.
  • Support PR campaigns by integrating social media components, including influencer collaborations, contests, and hashtag campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends and conduct competitor analysis for all managed products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage crisis communications when necessary.
  • Utilize strong creative writing skills to craft compelling narratives, generate innovative ideas, and adapt storytelling techniques to enhance branding and communication strategies.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to set and achieve goals, adhere to deadlines, and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Possess knowledge of the latest trends in PR, marketing, social media, and digital communication strategies.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, results-oriented corporate setting requiring a high degree of flexibility.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Possess 1 to 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, events, or creative writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in managing press relations or leading social media campaigns is a plus.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong skills in presentation development and data tracking.

Working Conditions

This role is based in an office environment. It requires extended periods of sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. Approximately 20% domestic travel and some international travel may be required for meetings, events, and conventions.

Additional Information

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $78,640 to $90,000. The final compensation will be determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience relative to the role.
