Role overview
ASUS is hiring a Commercial Account Manager for its open platform business in Riyadh. The role focuses on driving commercial sales performance, expanding customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth in the local IT market.
Key responsibilities
- Handle both sell-in and sell-out activities for ASUS products in the commercial segment.
- Grow the account footprint by increasing product penetration across existing commercial customers.
- Assess customer purchasing factors and present ASUS offerings in a way that builds loyalty and supports revenue expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Create and deliver plans for sell-in and sell-out execution.
- Review weekly sell-through and sell-out performance with the BDM.
- Coordinate closely with the BDM and CPM to support country-level business strategy.
- Track competitor activity and market developments, then share relevant updates with management.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and implement campaigns and activities for assigned customers.
- Stay aware of local and federal regulatory requirements.
- Participate in bidding for new projects and negotiate commercial contract terms.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Candidates should have strong spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Applicants need 2 to 3 years of sales-related experience in the IT industry, preferably with a vendor, distributor, or large commercial reseller.
- A solid understanding of the local IT market is important.
- The role calls for a proactive self-starter who can work well in a team and take initiative on new tasks.
- The ideal candidate should be creative, adaptable, and open to new ideas.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is expected.
