About the Role

Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Intern to join their Communications team based in Sydney. This unpaid internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury brand communications, media relations, and social, digital, and print media operations. It is tailored for students pursuing Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or related fields at Australian or New Zealand universities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and documenting the sample inventory including product movement, showroom upkeep, and stocktakes.
• Help maintain sample quality through steaming, repairs, and dry cleaning tasks.
• Support the collation of press coverage, data extraction for crediting, and organization of printed materials like magazines and clippings.
• Participate in social media support activities such as analyzing the Australian talent market and preparing dressing request forms.
• Provide general assistance with ad-hoc communication projects and logistical coordination of PR activities by liaising with retail, logistics, and merchandising teams.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Fashion, Marketing, Communications, or similar at a university or college in Australia or New Zealand.
• Strong academic performance and basic understanding of public relations principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A strong work ethic paired with eagerness to learn.
