Project Officer

Role Overview

The Project Officer position supports partnerships and governance activities within the First Peoples Housing and Homelessness Branch. Key duties include preparing briefing documents, developing presentations, analyzing data, and coordinating communication across the branch and within Homes Victoria to advance housing and homelessness partnerships and governance efforts.

This role serves as secretariat and project management support for multiple partnership arrangements and forums involving diverse organizations and government stakeholders. It provides broad administrative, policy advice, and project support to further implement the Victorian Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Framework (VAHHF): Mana-na woorn-tyeen maar-takoort, ensuring every Aboriginal Victorian has a home.

Key Responsibilities

• Work effectively within a team to deliver timely and quality support to managers and staff within the branch.
• Assist with preparing and presenting reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet submissions, and agency papers on various topics to stakeholders.
• Maintain high integrity and autonomy in managing communication between team members and both internal and external key stakeholders.
