Supply Chain Transformation Specialist

About the Role

This position is part of the Digital Strategy Team focused on implementing the Future Focused Planning program across manufacturing sites in Europe. Serving as the dedicated site transformation specialist, you will oversee the complete transition process to the new Target Operating Model (TOM). Your efforts will ensure that new processes, tools, and work methods are sustainably adopted at assigned sites. Acting as a bridge between central program leadership and local site teams, you will translate strategic objectives into tangible outcomes at the site level.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end implementation of the Future Focused Planning initiative at designated manufacturing locations.
• Collaborate closely with site leadership and supply planning groups to foster adoption of the TOM.
• Perform site readiness evaluations identifying discrepancies relative to desired operating states.
• Create and enact tailored deployment and organizational change strategies for each site.
• Design and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills and capabilities within supply planning teams.
• Monitor progress against deployment targets and key performance indicators, reporting findings to the Deployment Lead.
• Proactively identify risks and issues, escalating them promptly as necessary.
• Integrate new operational processes and tools to embed lasting transformation at site level.
• Document and communicate site-level insights to optimize the wider deployment approach continually.
• Ensure thorough preparation for sustained post-deployment operations and exit of hypercare support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering is mandatory; Master's or professional specialization in Supply Chain/Operations is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in supply or demand planning, or Sales & Operations Planning within manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge and experience in operating model design and executing transformation programs.
• Strong facilitation, training delivery, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Analytical skills that enable gap analysis and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Ability to perform effectively with autonomous site-level management.
• Hands-on familiarity with SAP, IBP, or similar supply planning software is desirable.
• Experience or certification in change management is beneficial.

Leadership and Accountability

• Full responsibility for the effective roll-out of the Future Focused Planning program at your assigned site.
• Drive compliance with processes and the adoption of the Target Operating Model among supply planning teams.
• Coach site members to build confidence and competence in new working methods.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and capability gaps to assist deployment leadership.
• Promote the transformation and champion new operations within the site environment.
• Identify and resolve process gaps and barriers hindering adoption locally.

Influence and Collaboration

• Act as the principal transformation liaison at the site, influencing readiness, adoption speed, and quality delivery.
• Align with global supply chain teams as well as local site operations and leadership to facilitate seamless program execution.

Additional Information

• Contract Type: Fixed-term for 24 months.
• Travel Requirement: Regular travel to manufacturing sites is expected, ranging between 15% to 35% of working hours depending on project phase and site needs.
